Main House & Kitchen
The exterior of the main house was severely weathered and needed significant renovations. We replaced all the exterior siding with new cedar, repointed exterior stone, and replaced all windows and exterior doors. While rebuilding the decks & arbors, we creatively corrected construction flaws that lead to rotting without compromising the original design. Lastly, we installed a new roof & copper gutter.
The kitchen is in the 1800s stone addition and was completely gutted. We exposed the original ceiling joists and applied a whitewash finish. The rang hood is custom built and powder coated to match the cabinets. Stone walls were prepped to receive tile, and floors, cabinets, countertops & appliances were replaced. To complete the interior work, we replaced the HVAC system and installed two wood-burning stoves.
