Transforming “Casamar” to “Falling Waters Farm.”

Our most challenging project to date, Falling Waters Farm consists of three separate buildings on 20 acres on the outskirts of Frederick. The original home was a late 1700s log structure built to house the caretaker of the nearby grist mill. A stone addition was added in the mid-1800s and in the 1980s, the property was purchased by J. William “Bill” Brosius, Jr., the original developer of Lake Linganore at Eaglehead. Bill designed and built a mid-century modern addition which incorporated the two older buildings and named the property “Casamar.”

The Brosius family sold the estate in 2019 and the new owners hired Lighthouse Craftsman to renovate and expand it, renaming the transformed property “Falling Waters Farm.” We partnered with Tuscan Blue Design and CADDWorks for interior design and architectural drafting services, respectively.
