Transformed the kitchen of this 1930s home into a modern chief’s kitchen used by the entire family to cook, eat, study, etc. Installed a large steel and microlam flitch beam which allowed us to remove a load-bearing wall at the laundry room, which was moved to the second floor to open up the space.
